GSSDA, the Georgia State Square Dance Association.  Sponsors an annual Georgia Square Dance Convention.  Lists contacts and events around Georgia.

Noriko Takahashi, a young Japanese woman, has set up her own site, featuring animated square dance moves.  You can read this site in either English or Japanese! 

All basic, mainstream and plus calls are shown in animation, as well as some more advanced calls.  Studying them is a terrific way to supplement your square dance lessons.

Another link to animated square dance moves, this one on a German square dance site.  You can stop and start the action.  Their view of square dancing is pretty interesting to read, too.  There evidently are hundreds of square dance clubs in Germany.

Here is yet another link to square dance animation.  You can buy a CD or view the moves online.  You can slow down the animation or step through it at your pace.

Did you know that Square Dancing is Georgia's official folk dance?  (But we haven't quite settled on a state flag yet.)

Roundalab, the International Association of Round Dance Teachers, Inc, is a resource for round dancers and cuers.

Square Dance World has a listing of just about everything, including some square dance history and etiquette.

Brantley's Western Supply and Square Dance Apparel has mostly women's clothing, but some for men.  (Men can actually do quite well at any local western apparel store.)

Dancecenter has a selection of women's clothing.  Most items are cut to order, and you are warned to order early.

Nancy's Online Store has a selection of square dance outfits for women.  A special feature is one section with pre-cut outfits ready for the home seamstress.

Sheplers has Western wear for both men and women.

Denver Fabrics has a large, eclectic selection of fabrics, notions, and patterns.  Some of them would make great square dance attire.

MASDA, the Metro Atlanta Square Dancers Association.  This useful site lists square dance clubs in the Atlanta area, with club locations and contacts.  MASDA also sponsors several dances each year in Atlanta.
